about oliver bixby

     Oliver Bixby is a solo artist from the Milwaukee area, with influences such as Beck and Mos Def, who has put out two solo albums, "For No One", in 2007, and "Tumblecreep", in 2011. He also plays guitar in The Andes, an indie rock band from Milwaukee with influences such as Foo Fighters and Oasis. He has been playing music since the age of six, when his mother required all her children to take up an instrument. Bouncing between orchestral instruments for twelve years, Bixby taught himself guitar, drums and piano before starting to write his own songs. He is currently touring in support of "Tumblecreep".
